Local members of the Conservative Party gathered today to celebrate St George's Day (slightly early) with Member of Parliament for Arundel & South Downs, Andrew Griffith MP introducing guest speaker, the renowned retired race horse trainer, Mr Guy Harwood.
Members enjoyed a delicious English traditional roast beef lunch followed by apple pie, with a really interesting talk from Guy Harwood about his career as a successful race horse trainer and how race horses are breed for success. Members were also treated to a encouraging speech from Andrew Griffith MP, celebrating the successes of the current Conservative Government, on issues including immigration and employment levels.
